They said it wouldn’t power on and they didn’t have the password. I don’t like the idea that this equipment goes to landfills and I seen that the w box has a reset button on the back of it. So I thought it would be an easy fix to hit the reset button and fix the power supply problem. I purchased the box and got it to work but the reset button doesn’t reset the password back to the default listed above. I did write the seller of w box and requested a password Friday, but they’re not open till Monday. And I got a feeling that they’re not going to give me the password as they would rather sell me a new system, forcing this perfectly good one that I spent a lot of time and money fixing to go to the landfills. Is there any way to reset the password on a w box NVR or Flash the firmware? Or should I just toss this in the trash and stop buying stuff on eBay thinking I can get it to work?
